Scanner: Crews battle house fire in Vancouver’s North Image neighborhood

Fire crews are at the scene of a house fire in Vancouver’s North Image neighborhood, according to emergency radio traffic monitored at The Columbian.

Crews were dispatched at 3:50 p.m. to 12906 N.E. 50th St. The first arriving engine reported a working fire inside a single-story house, according to the scanner.

Firefighters hit the front side of the house with water, according to the scanner. Vancouver police were called to shut down traffic on Northeast 129th Avenue near the house, the scanner said.

The fire was reported to be under control at 4:14 p.m., according to the scanner. A resident of the house was located nearby, and no injuries were reported, the scanner said.
